Zach Bellissimo - KANDY COATED KACKLES

Two of my favorite things ever are Halloween and music. And yes, there's more than just Monster Mash and Thriller. I've been collecting songs about halloween, monsters, horror and the like for more than 10 years. In 2011 I had accumulated so much music that I wanted to share it with the world. Thus I created the "Kandy Coated Kackles" playlists. Every cover is drawn by me and each song list is curated by myself. Intertwined with clips from movies, TV and other stuff, I wanted to make my mixes an experience, something to make you really feel it was Halloween. The first year I unearthed 13 volumes and since then I have tried to do at least one every October (though not as consistent these days). I used to offer them as mp3 downloads but throughout the years had been taken down due to copyrights. You can download them all here for the first time! Some folks have even recreated them on streaming services but the magic of these songs are that most are so obscure they do not exist anywhere unless you own it as mp3. This also goes for the clips which I ripped from videos and made into mp3's myself. Sometimes streaming just doesn't have a thing. You gotta end up owning it. So enjoy some spooky tunes while you're carving pumpkins, putting up decorations or just straight up chilling. Happy Halloween!
